Proje Özeti

ABSTRACT The present study aims to investigate undergraduate students’ perceptions and experiences regarding the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in higher education from a comparative international perspective. This study adopts a quantitative, exploratory, international multicenter research design involving institutions distributed across the following continents: South America, North America & the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania (APPENDIX III). For data collection and management, the study will use the RedCap platform, a secure and widely used online tool for research data collection. The questionnaire will only be made available to students after approval by the CEP-CONEP Research Ethics System. Participation will be voluntary and conditional upon acceptance of the electronic Informed Consent Form (ICF). No data that allow direct identification of participants will be collected. The variables investigated include perceptions of academic use of AI, impacts on learning, ethical considerations, and educational evaluation. Data will be analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods, with comparisons across countries and continents. The study presents minimal risk, limited to possible discomfort when answering opinion-based questions. The results are expected to contribute to the development of evidence-based educational policies informed by multicultural perspectives, as well as to the formulation of ethical guidelines for the use of AI in higher education.
