Abstract

We examine the thermal and hysteresis behaviors of the triangular nanowire with core/shell structure, within an effective field theory, in the mixed spins-(3/2, 5/2) Isingmodel with a crystal-field interaction. The thermal behavior of the totalmagnetization to obtain the compensation temperatures and to characterize the type of compensation behavior is investigated by three different thermal series, namely core/shell interaction, shell interaction, and crystal field. We also calculate the hysteresis curves depending on the temperature, crystal field, and core-shell interaction. According to the values of the parameters, the system presents different compensation behaviors. Moreover, multiple hysteresis loops exist in the system.
