Background and Purpose: Self-efficacy level is an important factor in gaining basic life support skills. This study aimed to test the psychometric properties of the Turkish version of “Basic Resuscitation Skills Self-Efficacy Scale (BRS-SES)” which measures the confidence levels of nursing students. Methods: The data of this methodological study were collected from 387 nursing students. in the central region of Turkey. Results: A two-dimensional factor structure and 18 items were included in the analysis. Intraclass fit indices were calculated as χ2/df = 3.431, RMSEA = 0.079 and CFI = 0.957. Conclusion: The study showed that the Turkish version of BRS-SES is a valid and reliable assessment instrument for measuring self-efficacy levels of nursing students in basic life support skills.
