Aesthetic Management of Lateral Tooth Anomaly and Missing Tooth with the Free-Hand Technique: A Case Report

Özet

Amaç: Bu olgu sunumu, dental anomalilerin neden olduğu estetik bozukluğun free-hand tekniği kullanılarak direkt kompozit rezin restorasyonlar ile konservatif şekilde düzeltilmesini açıklamaktadır.

Birey ve Yöntem: 23 yaşındaki erkek hastada 12 numaralı dişte şekil anomalisi ve 22 numaralı dişin eksikliği tespit edildi. Ağız içi fotoğraflar alındı. 12 ve 23 numaralı dişlere direkt kompozit rezin restorasyon uygulandı. Bitirme ve polisaj işlemleri için polisaj diskleri ve lastik kullanıldı. İşlem tek seansta minimal invaziv yaklaşımla tamamlandı.

Sonuç: Dental anomalilere bağlı estetik sorunlar, direkt kompozit rezin restorasyonlarla hızlı, ekonomik ve etkili bir şekilde tedavi edilebilir.

Aim: This case report describes the conservative correction of an aesthetic impairment caused by dental anomalies using direct composite resin restorations with the free-hand technique.

Subjects and Methods: In a 23-year-old male patient, a shape anomaly of tooth number 12 and the absence of tooth number 22 were identified. Intraoral photographs were obtained, and direct composite resin restorations were performed on teeth numbers 12 and 23. Finishing and polishing procedures were carried out using polishing discs and rubber polishers. The treatment was completed in a single session using a minimally invasive approach.

Conclusion: Aesthetic problems associated with dental anomalies can be treated in a rapid, cost-effective, and efficient manner using direct composite resin restorations.
