Abstract

In this article, these questions and topics are discussed, investigated and evaluated: What is the origin of the symbols of Crescent and "moon with star" in Islamic and Turkic Civilisations, how it became the symbol of Islam and Turks ? Use of the symbol of crescent in Islamic and Turkic Cultures and it's symbolic and ideological meanings.
