Abstract

Objective: Recent studies have reported that red blood cell distribution width (RDW) levels could be increased in some cardiovascular disorders including heart failure, stable coronary disease, acute coronary syndrome, stroke and in some non-cardiovascular diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, colon cancer and celiac disease. We aimed to investigate the relation between RDW and newly diagnosed deep vein thrombosis (DVT) patients.
