Özet

A new species Phryna hamzaoglui was discovered in Hekimhan (Turkey, Malatya province) where it grows on hillsides. The P. hamzaoglui and P. ortegioides were compared with each other in terms of their general morphology and seed micromorphology. Description, distribution, illustration and conservation status of the new species are given. Seed lateral and surface, cells, anticlinal cell walls, periclinal cell walls structures were examined by scanning electron microscopy. The images were captured with the 500x, 100x, and 40x objective lens for the details.
