Özet
The aim of this study is to examine how social inequality influences the ideological development of terrorist organizations, with particular attention to the Syrian Democratic Union Party. The study adopts a qualitative research design based on comparative analysis and case analysis. It investigates how social inequalities intensified by the Industrial Revolution contributed to the development of political and ideological movements and how these historical dynamics can be reflected in the ideological discourse of the Syrian Democratic Union Party. The study employs qualitative document analysis based on academic literature, publicly available documents, and relevant news reports. Documents concerning the ideological discourse of the Syrian Democratic Union Party were selected and examined, particularly those addressing social inequality, social grievances, class differences, collective organization, and demands for social transformation. The collected data were analyzed through thematic analysis by identifying recurring themes, concepts, and arguments concerning inequality and ideology. The Syrian Democratic Union Party was selected as the case because, although terrorism and the organization have been extensively studied, relatively limited attention has been devoted to the relationship between social inequality and its ideological discourse.
