Objective: In this current study coronavirus anxiety, fear and anxiety of death in final year dentistry students who are under higher risk of occupational exposure to SARS-CoV-2 has been intended. Material Methods: After ethical commitee approval the vaccination and infection rate of Covid-19 in final year dentistry students of Ankara University has been recorded. Next by, their fear and anxiety has been evaluated by Covid-19 Fear, Coronavirus Anxiety and Thorson Powell Death Anxiety Scales. Results: 180 students joined this research. 64.4% of the students involved in this study were female. 41.1% of them had been vaccinated 4 times whereas 2.2% had no vaccination at all. 73.2% of the students had no Covid-19 infection. The Coronavirus Anxiety Scale revealed to be low 3.93 ± 4.29 and Covid-19 Fear Scale to be 15.52 ± 5.82. The Covid-19 fear values were found to be significantly higher in female students than in male students (P = .048). The results of Thorson and Powell Death Anxiety Scale revealed to be 49.91 ± 16.83. Conclusion: According to this study it was concluded that final year dentistry students had no coronavirus anxiety. However female students had moderate Covid-19 fear and low fear of death which were found to be higher when compared to male students. Knowing the ways of transmission and prevention of this infection as well as the possibility to reach precautions such as vaccines and protective equipment also awareness and the reduction in the number of Covid-19 cases and deaths within the period this survey was done, showed that the intensity of fear and anxiety was not that much high. The results also revealed that there were no signs of anxiety disorders among the students.
