Abstract

This paper implements mathematically rigorous extended trial function algorithm to address cubic-quartic optical solitons in birefringent fibers having Kudryashov's law of nonlinear refractive index. Three special cases of the power-law nonlinearity parameter are taken into consideration. Bright and singular optical solitons emerge from this analytical scheme.
