Özet

In ekler population the incidence of chronic kidney disease increases. As the population ages, anesthesiologists are challenging the fact that the number of patients with chronic kidney disease is rising. Anesthetic management of patients with chronic kidney disease is really challenging because it requires an ultimate knowledge about the pathophysiology of the disease and the interaction between the anesthetic drugs and comorbidities. In this review we aimed to present the features of chronic kidney disease and highlight the facts related to anesthesia.
