The aim of the present study is to determine the latent models of teacher dissent types and the relationship between these profiles and the results of dissent. The study was conducted with 532 teachers selected using convenience sampling. As a result of the study, three different teacher profiles were identified, timid dissidents, vocal critics and active dissidents, respectively. A noteworthy result is that no profile has a significant relationship with school dissent outcomes. Furthermore, timid dissidents also show no significant relationship with dissent outcomes. However, vocal critics and active dissidents were found to have significant relationships with dissent results on teachers and principals. The common point in the profiles of vocal critics and active dissidents is the significant predictive relationship between the increase in articulated criticism and the negative outcomes that teachers are likely to face.
