Objective Epicardial fat tissue thickness (EFT) and the neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR) are associated with atherosclerosis. Few studies have focused on the relationship between these parameters in patients with newly diagnosed hypertension. In this study, we examined the relationship between EFT and the NLR in patients with newly diagnosed hypertension detected by 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM).
