Özet

The need for food rises gradually as the population increases day by day. Correspondingly, agricultural products need to be further cultivated. And so, Irrigation is one of the most significant factors for producing these products more productively. Both the irrigation method and the way of obtaining groundwater greatly affect the profitability of the producer. In this study, determining the most efficient method for irrigation and obtaining the necessary energy has been examined. Method: One of the most suitable ways for irrigation methods is the use of electric motors. Today, most of the electricity consumed is derived from fossil based fuels. Fossil based fuels, which have not been a problem in the past, will face the problem of depletion in the near future. Due to this reason, new energy sources are continuously needed and alternate renewable energy systems are being developed in many ways. Results: This study mainly focuses on deriving the energy requirement from renewable energy sources. Consequently, the energy attained from the renewable sources meets the energy need for irrigation systems Conclusion: The sun is a main source of these systems because of its perpetual energy. Therefore, in this study, the electrical and cost analysis of a grid-connected photovoltaic solar energy plant with a power of 35.8 kWp, which will provide the energy needed to water a greenhouse on 10 acres of land in Kahramanmaras province, are performed.
