Özet
Sound is a kind of pressure change waving away into a substance. The hearing organ of the human being can distinguish the sound waves between 20Hz and 20Khz audio frequencies. The signals over this range are called as “ultrasonic”. Some insects can percept the sounds in a wide spectrum including the ultrasonic band. The field of the science examining the relationship between the living creatures and sounds is called as bioacoustics. In this study, the studies associated with determining bioacoustics features of the insects were given and how making use of these features of the agricultural pest insects on agricultural pest management was discussed.
