Data were collected using the questionnaire form, “Parenting Stress Index” (PSI;), Parental Acceptance-Rejection/ Parental Form (PAR), Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ), and semi-structured interview form. The data were collected before the application (first follow-up) and after the application (second follow-up). In addition, individual interviews were conducted with 12 mothers in the intervention group in accordance with the semi-structured interview form after the application. RESULTS: In the study, it was determined in the group comparisons, the total scores of “ PSI/ PAR, SDQ were significantly reduced between the application and pre-application term for intervention group (p< 0.05) and there was no significant difference in the control group (p> 0.05). CONCLUSIONS: The program based on child parent relationship therapy can be tested in wider population groups with different models.
