Abstract

The thermoelectric effect involves the principle of the conversion of heat into electrical energy, electrical energy into heat. A thermoelectric generator is called the conversion of heat to electric energy due to the temperature difference between the semiconductor materials which is formed by combining P-type and n-type materials. These generators provide the conversion of thermoelectric interaction heat to electrical energy. Thermoelectric coolers are performed opposite of these situations. In this study, the theory of thermoelectric effects, the operating principle and conditions of thermoelectric generators and coolers were examined.
