Asst. Prof. KENAN KILIÇ

Dr. Kenan Kılıç graduated from Gazi University, Faculty of Technical Education, Department of Furniture and Decoration Education in 2012 as the first in the faculty. In 2021, he graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Technology, Department of Woodworking Industrial Engineering. He completed his Master's degree in Woodworking Industrial Engineering from Gazi University Institute of Science and Technology in 2019 and received his PhD degree in Woodworking Industrial Engineering in 2025.

Between 2018-2022, he worked as a lecturer in Yozgat Bozok University Vocational School of Technical Sciences Materials and Materials Processing Technologies Program / Furniture and Decoration program. Since 2022, he has been working as a lecturer in Yozgat Bozok University Yozgat Vocational School, Department of Design / Interior Design program.

His academic interests include furniture industry, wood surface treatments, computer vision, artificial intelligence, deep learning, machine learning and wood defect detection technologies. He has published articles in national and international refereed journals in these fields. 

Dr. Kılıç currently serves as an Asst. Prof. Dr. at Yozgat Bozok University, Vocational School of Higher Education, Department of Design – Interior Design Program, where he continues his academic research and studies.
