I am currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Coaching Education at the Faculty of Sport Sciences, Yozgat Bozok University. My academic research primarily focuses on child protection and children’s rights in sport, with the aim of fostering safe, inclusive, and rights-based sporting environments for children. In my doctoral dissertation, I centered on a children’s rights-based approach in sport and have made pioneering academic contributions to this field in Türkiye.
In addition, as the founder of YOBU-GÖKAK (Working Dogs Research and Application Coordination Center) and YOBU-YAKUT (Yozgat University Search and Rescue Community), I have been leading initiatives in volunteerism, disaster awareness, and working dog training within the university. I am also a co-founder and vice president of ARK (Search and Rehabilitation Dogs Association), through which I have implemented nationwide training programs and awareness-raising activities.
My academic and social mission is to integrate my research on children’s rights and protection in sport with projects on working dog training and disaster preparedness, thereby developing sustainable models that enhance both scientific knowledge and societal benefit.
