After completing his high school education at Hasan Ali Yücel Anatolian Teachers' High School, Mücahit Türkmen started his undergraduate program in Law (30% English) at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Law and also enrolled in the Economics undergraduate program at Anadolu University Faculty of Economics. Within the scope of her undergraduate education, he went to Saarland University Faculty of Law in Saarland, Germany as an exchange student with Erasmus+ Learning Mobility; he also did a summer internship at Partnerschaft Akkaya, Di March & Kuhn Rechtsanwälte (Law Firm) in the same state with Erasmus+ Internship Mobility. After graduating from both undergraduate programs as an honor student, he was accepted to Ankara University Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Private Law with a thesis master's program; he also started a non-thesis master's program at Ondokuz Mayıs University Graduate Education Institute, Department of Real Estate Valuation and Development. He wrote his thesis titled “Liability Arising from the Operation of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Insurance of Liability” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Kemal Şenocak and his term project titled “Valuation of Immovables to be brought to Joint Stock Companies as Capital in accordance with the Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102” under the supervision of Dr. Lect. Zeynep Özcan and graduated these master's degree programs. Türkmen, who continues his PhD program at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Private Law under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Cafer Eminoğlu, has been appointed as a lecturer at Yozgat Bozok University Yerköy Vocational School, Department of Property Protection and Security and continues his studies. His research interests are commercial law, insurance law and drone law.
